All things Mac (and Vista)

Hi, I am Ryan, and I have made this site purely for questions, tutorials, and fixes on Mac OS X and Vista. Also, I have come up with quite a few fun things you can do with your computer, so just post in the blog for questions. If you decide you like this site, and you would like to share it with other people on your website, please use this image as an ad, and link it to <macosxvistatutorials.weebly.com>. You don't have to, but I created it just for these purposes.

Mac OS X on a PC.

This is Mac OS X, right?

Well, it is, kind of, but it is running on a PC! This is workable because of a miracle called OSx86, and iATKOS v1.0i.

If you want to do this yourself, then head over to the videos section. I recommend watching all 3 parts before trying it yourself.

Also, there are lots of ways you can customize Mac OS X. iATKOS even includes something called DockTweak, which allows you to change the color of and style of the dock. Also, there is a free program called Docker, which allows many more options.

Leopard Docks includes quite a lot of custom docks as well. How to install them:

1. Go to Macintosh HD > /System/Library/Core Services/
2. Right-Click on "Dock" and select "Show Package Contents"
3. Go to /Contents/Resources/
4. Backup the files you are about to replace
5. Move those same original files to the trash
6. Move the files you downloaded to that folder
7. Open Terminal and type "killall Dock" (without the quotes)
8. View your nice new dock.
